Well, if you read my previous blog, I'm sure you just can't wait to hear about my shopping trip. We didn't get the computer, they were sold out. Oh well, we couldn't afford it anyway. We did get a few other things. They should be free after we get the rebate.
On the upside. I got to go out to breakfast with my husband. That's a rare event. It was nice to sit at McDonald's with just the 2 of us.
Today has been very relaxing. It rained and rained all day. That's a big deal here. We are in a drought. It hasn't rained much at all except for the hurricane that blew through here. Even then, it didn't rain long.

I talked to oldest son. He is in Colorado meeting his girlfriend's family. He's having a really nice time. I'm so proud of him. It has been wonderful watching him grow into the fine young man he is. It is also sad to see him grow up and start pulling away from us. I would worry about him if he didn't want independence, but I worry about him wanting it. I've got to (or get to) go through this 5 more times.
