We start back to school on Tuesday. I am so ready. We've been going to bed when we want, waking up when we want and enjoying ourselves, but it's time to get back to reality. I think everyone is ready to get back into our routine.
There was one thing I was supposed to do before school gets started back and I still haven't done it. I need to order the dissecting kit for James' Biology. He doesn't really want to do it. I don't really want to do it. I'm procrastinating for lack of enthusiasm for the subject. I've really got to do it though. Maybe tomorrow…
Our goal for the next few months is to potty train Benjamin. He'll be 3 in February. I don't think any of my kids have been potty trained until just before or somewhat after their 3rd birthday. He doesn't show any interest in it. He doesn't try to take off his clothes, except his socks when he's taking a nap. I can't tell if he's going to be hard or easy.
He got Thomas the Tank Engine underwear for Christmas. He also got a book about potty training. We picked it up at Target. There's a button on the front to push that makes a flushing sound and a kid giggles like it's great fun. I'll try to introduce him to it next week, maybe…
